What do you need
Are you independent and self-reliant? If the answer is ‘yes’, then we’re halfway there! Apply for a Senior Java Developer position if you have:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position;
- Expertise in the following:
– Java (v8 / Spring Boot),
– MySQL,
– AWS (EC2/S3),
– ElasticSearch,
– Redis. - Experience working with microservices using RESTful API;
- Experience with database architecture & designs;
- Data analyse & management at high volume;
- Fluency in English (minimum B2+);
- Excellent communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS);
- Experience working with an international team (you will be collaborating daily with team members from the United States);
- Experience working with startups – flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to the business.
Who do we look for
Currently, we are looking for a person who will join the Grocery Buddy Team as a Senior Java Developer. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating new and enhancing existing API endpoints for mobile applications.
- Managing data and caching layers for a dataset of products and prices (100 million+ records).
- Optimizing data search and indexing through ElasticSearch.
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of data from various sources.
Grocery Buddy is a user-friendly mobile application designed to simplify everyday grocery shopping tasks. With its intuitive interface, users can efficiently plan their shopping lists and track their expenses in real-time. The app’s mission is to streamline the grocery shopping experience, offering convenience and organization to users’ daily routines.
